Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We only collect what we need to look after you and your car:

• Booking requests: your car’s registration, your name, email address, phone number and the work you need, when you use the booking form on this website.
• Calls, texts and emails: anything you tell us when you phone the workshop, tap “Message Us” to text us, or email us.
• In the workshop: vehicle details (make, model, year, odometer reading, VIN), the work we do, invoices and payment records, and anything needed for a pink slip inspection.
• Website logs: our website host automatically records basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.

You don't have to give us your details, but without them we can't book your car in or contact you about it. You can always just call the workshop.

2. How we use it

• To confirm your booking, quote on work and contact you about your car
• To do the work, invoice it and keep service and warranty records
• To carry out and record pink slip (e-Safety) inspections, as required by Transport for NSW
• To meet our legal, tax and consumer-law obligations

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated without asking you first. We won't add you to marketing emails or texts unless you agree to it.

3. Who we share it with

Only when it's needed to look after your car or run the business:

• Our website and booking provider: booking requests from this website are delivered to our inbox by Acquisitionist, who built and maintains the site, using the GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) email platform. A copy of each request is kept by Acquisitionist so they can make sure bookings are reaching us.
• Website hosting: this site is hosted by Vercel.
• Parts suppliers: vehicle details (make, model, VIN) so we order the right parts.
• Government: inspection results reported to Transport for NSW for pink slips, and anything else we're required by law to provide.
• Our accountant, insurer or legal adviser, when reasonably needed.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We use well-known providers that protect data with industry-standard security.

4. How we keep it safe

Paper records are kept at the workshop and digital records are kept in password-protected systems. We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires (for example, tax and warranty records), then destroy or delete it securely.

5. Cookies and the map

This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The Google Map on our contact pages is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies. See our Cookies Policy for details.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we must keep by law). Just contact us below and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can fix it. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with its effective date at the top.
